Kason Dunham spot played late in the year and shows promise both as an infielder and right handed pitcher. Dunham possess great control on the mound along with an assortment of off speed pitches that make him effective against the best of hitters.

Outfielder David Cronister showed promise with the big club in the outfield late in the year. He has above average speed tracking the ball and became a good hitter to all fields offensively.

Cronister has potential on mound from the left side over the next 2 summers. This helped us identify and develop a lot of young players that makes the future very bright for Travelers Baseball.

They also reached the semifinals of the inaugural Northwestern Oklahoma Classic a week later after rolling through their pool schedule with a perfect record. The Travelers then followed up by winning their pool once again in the Annual Route 66 Classic prior to a thrilling semifinal win over rival Burkburnett before claiming runner-up honors.

After losing just one game in the Great Plains Tournament in Topeka, the Travelers returned for one of the most impressive weeks in recent history that included two thrilling wins over arch-rival Enid Majors in Enid. They were once again unbeaten in their state tournament pool and rode timely hitting as well as an incredible pitching effort of southpaw Dillon Bumgarner, who notched two mound wins and a save while yielding only one run in 12 innings of tournament action.
