Kason Dunham spot played late in the year and shows promise both as an infielder and right handed pitcher. Dunham possess great control on the mound along with an assortment of off speed pitches that make him effective against the best of hitters.
Outfielder David Cronister showed promise with the big club in the outfield late in the year. He has above average speed tracking the ball and became a good hitter to all fields offensively.
Cronister has potential on mound from the left side over the next 2 summers. This helped us identify and develop a lot of young players that makes the future very bright for Travelers Baseball.

The squad put together a game winning streak that included a perfect run through pool play into the semifinals of the prestigious Tony Andenucio Classic in Pueblo before bowing out just short of the championship tilt. That mark included a rare quadruple header sweep in one day of their Traveler Alumni Weekend at Fuller Park. They also reached the semifinals of the inaugural Northwestern Oklahoma Classic a week later after rolling through their pool schedule with a perfect record. The Travelers then followed up by winning their pool once again in the Annual Route 66 Classic prior to a thrilling semifinal win over rival Burkburnett before claiming runner-up honors.
After losing just one game in the Great Plains Tournament in Topeka, the Travelers returned for one of the most impressive weeks in recent history that included two thrilling wins over arch-rival Enid Majors in Enid. They were once again unbeaten in their state tournament pool and rode timely hitting as well as an incredible pitching effort of southpaw Dillon Bumgarner, who notched two mound wins and a save while yielding only one run in 12 innings of tournament action.

Caden Church also returned for his final campaign with a. He was an on base guy for 2 seasons as he had over a. As a returning starting pitcher, Church was with a save and 5. It was discovered toward the end of the summer that an arm injury had kept him less effective than normal.
Offensively, 1 6-year-old Drake Kerr was the catalyst at the top of the order throughout the season while also manning centerfield. His batting average hovered over.
Kerr was a defensive specialist as well in center running down fly balls and using his arm to keep runners from taking extra bases. Drake's overall ability gained praise from many college scouts who watched him play this summer. He is just going to be a junior next year in High School and has 2 more summers to help continue the Traveler tradition of winning games. The versatile hitter drove in 30 and scored 37 runs while also displaying his speed with 18 stolen bases. He was also sixth on the team with 25 innings pitched while notching a record that included a scintillating relief effort to defeat Enid.
Ward retired 14 consecutive batters and threw 6 innings without giving up a hit while striking out 7 in the game. Parker Ward was named to the Tony Andenucio All-Tournament team as he went from the plate while driving in 10 runs.
Goss meanwhile wrapped up the season with a. He was a perfect for in stolen bases for the season. Goss also had a pitching record and one save with a 3. Ty was a perfect from the plate in the opening game of the Tony Andenucio Tournament, along with his. His steller defensive plays in the field were some of the most impressive fans had seen in recent years.
After watching his older brother Matt during a stellar Traveler career, Brady Benedict stepped in this season and became a huge spark at third base with his lefthanded bat and mound presence.
