Printer I am trying to add to the network is a Dell AIO, primarily for use by my children, but also as a standby for the numerous occasions the epson print quality is naff , so its a "nice to have" rather than essential.

Just check the channel. I would switch the channel to channel 11, there should not be a problem with everything connecting.
